Leadership Development and Coaching
The working world is being reshaped by society, technology and shared global challenges. Those driving your organisation need to develop strategic capability, at the same time as solving complex problems with empathy.
We provide bespoke services to build and develop senior management teams. We support leaders to build capacity, increase self-awareness, enhance confidence and improve resilience.
We do this through group learning using the Action Learning model and 1:1 leadership coaching. We also design and deliver interactive workshops to upskill and support through periods of strategic transition.

Brightheld is a boutique consultancy made up of a small team of experts with over 50 years of cumulative experience. We work closely with organisations to create bespoke solutions that make sense (evidence-based) and deliver meaningful impact (outcomes focussed). Whilst we specialise in transformation, leadership development and project management; it's people that are at the heart of everything we do. We are proud to collaborate alongside a network of expert advisors in behavioural science, leadership, and development. Through these relationships, we are able to share best practice, discover emerging approaches and play a part in thought leadership for the social sector. Like you, our values guide the way that we operate and we want to have a positive impact on people and the planet. Every month we deliver support and coaching services pro-bono to social enterprises and not for profits. We believe that by sharing…we all grow.

MEET THE TEAM
Sarah Copeland
Sarah is Brightheld's Director and Principal Consultant. She has over 20 years of experience in senior positions in the Charity and Public sector; leading development, change and operational teams. Sarah is an accredited Project Manager, a qualified Change Manager and an Executive Facilitator (Action Learning model). She is a proud fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs and has founded three not-for-profit organisations. She has extensive experience of co-creation and co-production and has led collaborative transformation in local government, charities and companies using the approach. She is currently the Strategic Lead for Change at the UK's largest private philanthropic trust.
Elle Wilks
Elle is Brightheld's Associate Consultant. She has 20 years of experience in senior management and leadership within the UK social sector including serving as CEO of a regional mental health charity. She established the Singapore office of Simply Giving, a fundraising portal operating across the APAC region. She has postgrad qualifications in fundraising, corporate social responsibility, sustainable business planning, counselling and coaching. Elle is a fellow of the School for Social Entrepreneurs, an ambassador for the Gender Equality Collective and has sat on several charity trustee boards. She is currently the Deputy CEO of the Lightyear Foundation.
Rachel Bartrop
Rachel provides research and business support for Brightheld. She has worked for many years in frontline care and leadership roles within the NHS. She has experience in management, people development, coaching and mentoring in the health sector. Rachel is involved in community development and supports the evolution of green spaces in the Cambridgeshire area.
